This 14K yellow gold opal pendant is set with one oval fire opal. The opal measures approx 24.0 X 16.0mm, and has intense flashes of red, orange, yellow, green, and blue, throughout the stone.
This estate piece does show normal wear of crazing, which is a type of internal or external fracturing that causes an opal to develop multiple small crack lines on its face. The crazing is not obvious, and the stone is safely set using 28 prongs. 5.0 grams.
